The Business Marketing Manager will act as strategic lead responsible for building and managing integrated marketing programs and budgets that deliver measurable business results for our P & L business lines. Responsible for working closely with senior leadership across the organization in the creation and cross-functional execution of marketing plans to support prioritized business plans and deliver on shared goals. Responsible for aligning marketing initiatives to business results by leading go-market-teams for each of the P & L businesses with hard line to marketing and accountability to key business areas. Expected to develop a deep understanding of the markets we serve and act as the voice of the customer for key audiences in our markets through partnership with business leaders across the organization. Required to collaborate with marketing and other functional areas to develop strategic functional plans (PR, Social, Content, Digital, Creative, etc.) to ensure that they are integrated, prioritized, and resourced to meet commitments and deliver on business objectives. Responsible for providing ongoing oversight of plan effectiveness by tracking and measuring results to ensure that marketing objectives are being met and optimized as needed to deliver maximum results. Expected to manage the marketing budget for each of the P&L plans and oversee expenses for all initiatives under purview.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Work closely with senior leadership across the organization in the development of strategic marketing plans that attract potential customers and retain existing customers for key business areas including Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial Group and Individual business.
Ensure marketing initiatives are aligned to business results and lead go-market-teams for each of the P & L businesses with hard line to marketing and accountability to key business areas to drive maximum ROI.
Work cross-functionally within the marketing organization to effectively communicate and lead the execution of strategic marketing plans and collaborate to develop strategic functional plans (PR, Social, Content, Digital, Creative, etc.) to ensure integration, prioritization, and resources to deliver on business objectives and shared goals.
Leverage CX/Digital teams to develop a deep understanding of the markets we serve, act as the voice of the customer for key audiences and provide ongoing oversight of plan effectiveness by tracking and measuring results to ensure that marketing objectives are being met.
Develop acquisition and retention based B2B and B2C marketing communications programs tailored to specific market segments and geographies and oversee external and internal resources to develop and communicate value proposition to brokers, providers, employer groups, individual consumers, state & commercial health plans.
Continually monitor and optimize performance to deliver maximum results of all marketing initiatives under purview.
Manage detailed marketing budget and expenses for each of the P&L plans with a keen focus on ROI.
Continue the evolution of marketing from a channel support function to a leading-edge business driver, leveraging the newest tools and technologies to provide a view into the customer and drive products and services that meet their current and future needs.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with the company's key stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field required
10 years' work experience as a Marketing strategist or Marketing manager developing and executing integrated marketing and communications programs.
10+ years leading a marketing/ communications function aligned to P&L business structure, including experience with strategic marketing, demand generation, digital, branding, content, advertising and media.
Demonstrated experience working in digital marketing and applying digital best practices with marketing campaigns and web technologies including web, mobile/SMS, Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, and social media
Experience leading cross-functional teams and developing go-to-market strategies for new businesses, products and markets.
Demonstrated success crafting integrated programs incorporating brand, positioning and corporate marketing strategy and result in robust sales across multiple product lines.
Strong strategic management and planning skills.
Proven record translating marketing and promotional objectives into results.
Strong analytical skills and strong financial/business acumen.
Creative, goal-oriented, and flexible professional that has demonstrated experience leading through change.
Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of people within the organization, in a positive and influential manner.

MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred
Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively.
Requires overall light physical effort (up to 25 lbs.)
Manual dexterity and sitting is required in carrying out responsibilities (i.e. use of personal computer).
Ability to travel or move about within and outside serviced facilities required.
Incumbent works primarily in either a private or shared office environment.
